Howard M. Cohen
Co-Writer

Since 1993, Howard M. Cohen has been a criminal defense trial lawyer in Los Angeles County specializing in hardcore gang cases.  As trial counsel in dozens of felony cases, he has encountered innumerable characters whose very lives hang in the balance and regard him as a deity or potential savior.  With a client base consisting exclusively of Latino/Hispanic defendants he has come to identify with their personalities, characteristics, and their culture as a whole.  In this position of trust he has been as “inside” as one of their own: especially during times of extreme crisis and jeopardy, times which reveal everything about an individual and a people.
